Just happen to randomly run across this story yesterday and had to share it. It's a pretty cool look into the past where several people took a ~2K mile road trip through Europe in the early 50's. A couple of old school Triumphs and a Brough S100 w/sidecar. Great stuff!

The article was written by the son of the guy who owned the S100 and he did a decent job of retelling their travels. Enjoy

I love looking at old black and white motorcycle and touring pictures. We actually have a thread around here someplace with a bunch of them.

That photo of the old plane unloading the bikes is super cool. We should all dress up in coats and ties and go bombing around sometime.
