Been checking out the ready made tool rolls. Most don't seem to be great quality and have stuff in them I would never use.

So I ordered just the tool roll. I plan on putting my own stuff in there. What are the most important things to keep in a tool roll. I am not much of a mechanic so some of the stuff I would be able to use.

I am thinking:

1. Flashlight
2. Assortment of zip ties
3. Set of allen wrenches
4. Small Crescent wrench
5. Small roll of tape
6. Tire pressure gauge

What do you guys carry?

8mm, 10mm, 12mm & 14mm open ended wrenches are the most standard bolt sizes you will find on metric bikes.

I put my tool kit's together based on what I imagine is the most likely to go wrong.  Some extra fuel hose, a fuel filter, knife and headlight bulb as Larry said for sure.  I carry the $10 Slime air compressor and a tire plug kit since on a new bike tires are probably going to be your most troublesome area.

The most important tool's you can have is an AMA card, a credit card and a cell phone.

I carry spare fuses. They're mini's so they don't take up too much room.

When traveling I carry a hard copy of the owner's manual.

I carry the following,
Spare Spark Plugs, Headlight bulb, Directional bulb, fuses, piece of fuel line, hose clamps, Spare Fuel filter, small roll of duct tape, electrical tape, A roll of tape that is supposed to be able to seal coolant hose leaks, A couple 12" pieces of electrical wire, Small assortment of electric wire connectors, Heat shrink wrap & lighter, factory tool kit which includes all the size wrench's & Allen key's need to fit any fastener on the bike, multi screwdriver, pliers, Shock spring tool, Feeler gauge set, Spark plug socket wrench, Tire plug kit, Air compressor, Tire Gauge, Knife, Flashlight, Small Crescent wrench, & Zip ties. Most of the tools fit in the factory tool pouch under the seat, The rest fits in my tool bag on the front of my forks. I also have a complete set of frog togg rain gear & a small first aid kit that only takes up half of one of my saddle bags.
