Fund raising event for the family of my buddy Matt that passed away at 38 years young, in June.  Come out if you can.  The Mighty Quinn is a pretty well known local band that is just one of the bands playing.  The "Jaime" referenced in the flyer is not me.  It is Matt's best friend growing up who has taken the initiative on this and is doing a great job!

On Military Trail south of Okeechobee Blvd.  Fastest way for you is either Turnpike to Okeechobee, east to Military Trail and then south or I-95 to Southern Blvd, west to Military Trail and then north.

I'll be riding down from Wildwood, I'm doing this as a tribute ride in honor of Matt. I only meet him once but he welcomed me into his home & made me feel like we knew eachother for years, He even installed the progressive springs on the front of my Magna the day I meet him. Jamie's one of my best friends & I'm going to be there for him . Matt if you can go it will be great to meet you!.

That would be great to see you there Dan and hopefully you are bringing your better half?     Bryce is having surgery next week and we don't have the date yet so what happen's with that will determine if the wife makes it up.  In an ideal world he will have surgery early in the week and we can get him to come up and spend a few hours, even if he has to be in his wheel chair.  I know Marci would like to see Tina again.

Gary is coming down Friday afternoon on the Tpk and staying until Sunday. 

WOW Bill, that would be awesome if you came also!! I never expected you to ride all the way from Tampa.  Loop road is a couple of hours south of here and the event doesn't start until 1pm so if you are going to do a round trip all in one day, I suggest you leave early and do the loop road scenic part in the morning then stop by in the afternoon on the way back.  I think its about 4 hours from West Palm back to Tampa.

Yeah, Gary and I were pm’ing. I can’t get out on Friday so I’ll shoot down on Saturday morning.

I read over in the ST forum that Matt couldn’t get life insurance because of his pre-existing heart condition. Geez, that’s awful. I hope this event raises a lot of money for the family.

I’ll be heading south Saturday evening and messing around down in the Glades on Sunday, then working my way back up the west coast Sunday evening.

I think we will be up there around 2p but you can call me in the morning and see where we are are at.  No real ride planned other than to show the Gary some of the local stuff Saturday morning, because he hasn't been here before.  Before we get there we are planning a stop at Cycle Gear and at BMS because he has a limited supply of motorcycle shop's in his area.  He did the lake ride last Feb at the FGT so that would be the only real big ride from this area to take him on.  Riding isn't great here but he doesn't have a beach up there and with a high near 80* there should be some sights for him to see.     I'll probably run him down through Delray and then follow A1A back up to Lake Worth then cut west to stop at Cycle Gear before running up to BMS before heading over to Greater Yamaha.  I believe he is taking off Sunday morning for home so this trip is more about being at the fund raiser more than anything else for us.  On top of every thing else the wife is working all day Friday and Sunday and the kid had knee surgery yesterday so I have to be around to take care of him when she is gone.

Gary only made it 40 miles into his trip yesterday and had to turn around due to a problem with his lower tank.  At midnight he had the bike disassembled and he was going to get an early start this morning to see if he could get the issues resolved and still make it or not.  It's now 9:30a and I haven't heard from him yet so I am hoping things went smoothly and he is on his way.
