FGT "Florida Get Together" Feb 16th-19th: UPDATE

Okay,
 I'm going to try & keep this event going. As some of you know Jamie "V65infla" has put on this event since it's birth 2 years ago,  Jamie has just started a new career & it looks like he will not be able to attend/put on this great get together this year. It is going to be relocated to Ocala where there are great roads to ride in just about all directions. A few of us got together this past October & rode all over the area & were very impressed with the riding. As Jamie posted before, We found a great campground that has some very nice cabins & camp sites. There are hotels within walking distance also.  The Campground is next to I-75 & easy to get to. I'm going to go there this weekend & try to get the cabins locked down for a couple weeks so anyone wanting to attend can make reservations. I would have liked to have given everyone more time but I am doing what I can since the torch has been passed to me just recently. I will have all the information by the end of this weekend & will post A.S.A.P, If your interested in attending please let know so I can get a rough headcount.

I'm in with my son. I also have four other friends that are interested, just looking for some details.

To emphasize what Gary said, we were up there in October and had two of the best days of riding I've ever experienced. So much of it was away from the crowds and traffic. Plus, I kept the mapping of all those back roads from the recent Coast2Coast ride, a lot of which will be easily accessible from this location. There's no way that this can be anything other than an awesome time!

A couple thoughts for the FGT...once the facility is tied down. Some folks might like to fit the Don Garlits Racing Museum into a loop. Also, while I wish that there was flattrack racing up at Micro Speedway that weekend, we still could do an evening ride out and watch the sprints.
