That kickstarter concept that the Banshee guy is using is quite interesting. I'd never heard of that site or program before. In venture capital circles, we call that angel funding...although they've coined it crowd funding.

Basically, another couple college kids getting together with a fairly simple concept and making bajillions!

I have an unused air horn sitting here that I haven't gotten around to installing on my bike yet.  I am going to order two complete kits and one wiring kit and put this on the bike and in both car's.  My wife drives 25 each way to work and has had way too many close call's.  Plus a friend of hers from work and she went to high school with was killed in Ft. Lauderdale last week on his CBR1000RR when an old lady pulled out in front of him.  My wife saw this and it has pretty much become mandatory that I put it on my bike along with ordering a Hi-Viz jacket real soon, especially since I have been riding my bike to work every day.

I make my son wear a reflective vest that I picked up at cyclegear. Now riding to work everyday, I started wearing it around the end of last week. I like it because it fits over any jacket.

The banshee horn is a good concept. If you think about it, there are lots of reasons to use a horn for other than getting the attention of drivers on their cell phones. Like simply a blip to get a riding partners or groups attention. Why wake up the rest of the world with a stebel? This deal apparently relays from the stock horn to the sebel after half a second or so. Actually the guys says its not a stebel, but it looks just like one.

That actually looks pretty cool but those "Oh SH!T" situations usually happen too fast to be able to activate that horn.

Maybe i need to get my butt onto getting this idea I have into gear. Its a thing that you can put on your swing arm or onto the frame so when someone drops there bike, they can push a button to help them stand it up.

I got a couple more ideas but just thinking about the practical portion of it all.
