I even went out and checked on my pet bees and showed no fear.

Maybe the Red Kote will work on the bees, too.

This stuff is still drying but I think it'll work out real good. To better describe it is it pours like maple syrup.

The instructions said 8-24 hours to dry, and I saw where is said it's odorless when dry. Overall, sounds as runny as Kreem. Just like Kreem, I'll bet it oozed down to the bottom and is taking forever to fully dry. What we need is Butternut Mountain Farms Maple Syrup consistency, and all we get is an Aunt Jemima consistency.  Smiley

hi I'm new but a couple questions. How did you polish the covers so nice? And did the cb200 tank fit well?

I polished the covers with a big electric buffing wheel I bought at Harbor Freight. It's a lot of work! That's why 1/2 through the engine polishing I abandoned it and painted the bigger covers. I don't mind doing smaller pieces, but after doing a lot of polishing over the years, it wears on you a bit.

The CB200 tank fits real good with a few simple modifications. I bent the rear bracket down and made an L bracket. You can see a close up earlier in the thread. The front mounting rubbers need to be shaved. Then it slips and bolts right on with just enough clearance for the petcock.
