Big van meets camcorder. Ouch. Time to get a new one. Good thing I bought that accidental protection plan at Circuit City. Time to cash it in before they go out of business.

Better hurry, only eight days ‘til Xmas…let us know if Circuit City (operating under Chapter 11) honors the protection program.

They are honoring it. They use a 3rd party company for their protection warranties. I went there yesterday. They have to send it to the company to confirm it can't be fixed. Then, they will give me a credit at the store to upgrade to another camcorder. I hope I can get this done by Christmas. I won't be buying another warranty as I don't expect Circuit City to be around in the years ahead.

Circuit city can F**K off for all I care. Their computer service guys are total morons and hacks. They told me my motherboard failed several tests and was dying and that there was so many things wrong with my computer that I should give up and start over with a new one. That would be the motherboard I have been using now for the LAST 12 MONTHS and the one I am typing this message one RIGHT NOW. They also sold me the POS USB hard drive that crashed and took all of my photos, Ipod libraries, and financial information with it.

F**K YOU Circuit City.

There I feel better. Glad you got your camera replaced.  Those pictures are funny as hell.

Wish you could have taken a movie, but then again, you were smashing your camera at the time. Awww....you should have turned it on and had it filming the tire of the van crushing it. I wonder if the images would have survived. Now THAT would have been classic!

That would've been funny. Problem is, it's a miniDV. The tape would've been crushed. I've been looking at a Samsung HD camcorder that has a 300fps (in low def) mode and it runs on SD memory cards. Using that to watch the carnage would've have been cool. Although, it's always hard to catch those accidental occurrences.
