Who's seen this? I've never heard of this before. There was an old movie where I think George Hamilton played Evel, but Evel appears to be the star in this one.

I did some Googling during that pathetic football game. It looks like there were three Evel Movies, including the two above. This link lists reviews for all three:

http://weirdscifi.ratiosemper.com/evelknievel/movies.html

You gotta like that Viva Knievel review. It starts, “Evel Knievel stars as Evel Knievel in a film about Evel Knievel.” Brilliant!  Grin

Ok guys. I just watched this movie on Netflix. It really was one of the worst movies I have ever sat through. I felt like I was being punched in the brain for 90 minutes. Awful. Barely a biker movie at all. The first few minutes do feature a pretty groovy period animated montage ala 007 movies of the 70's, but it goes straight into the crapper after that. There is some some footage of some retarded biker gang of about 8 dudes that have NOTHING at all to do with the "plot" involving counterfeit $, Israeli secret agents, and the supposed rebirth of the Nazis funded by some douche in an ascot called "the Count". The biker crap could have been left out completely and it would have made no difference. It's hard to explain just how bad this movie is. Putrid!

Angry That sounds totally misrepresented from the bill!

When you say you "watched" on Netflix, did you down load it? Are they like Hulu now? There's a few up there that I'd like to give a shot, but don't care for that mail back 'n forth business.

But wasn't all that groovy 60's spy music really cool? Bongos and all.

I know how you feel, I rented it last year.

Netflix has on demand stuff, but not the obscure biker flix.
