I had never seen RONIN with Deniro and Natascha McElhone so I DVR'ed it. The second big car chase has to be one of the best chases ever. They are doing all that at actual speed. You can see the car suspensions being pushed to the absolute limit.  At 5:30 of this clip, the BMW takes out a dude on a motorcycle. It's only a few seconds, but you can see that this stuntman gets thrashed! Nasty!

The first big car chase is good too. I used to have an 80's Mercedes that same color as the one in the movie and it cracks me up to see that old bird smoking the tires. It's even better watching Deniro fire a bazooka out of the sunroof. AWESOME!

The ending of the movie blows, though and the ice skating thing is hard to stomach. Good chase scenes though.

That guy gets clobbered. I watched this movie to within the last few months. The chase scene is one of the best. No music, just engine sounds and sirens. Good close ups and feeling of speed.

I can remember when I first saw that movie I remember feeling a little let down since it came out after Heat, Copland, Jackie Brown. But watching it now with all the hype removed it's great. They never say what was in the briefcase, though.
