Welcome to the site. I just posted two of your bikes on the Weird Motorcycles thread yesterday. They start on page 224. I found them surfing the net yesterday.

http://bikerflorida.com/forum/index.php/topic,184.3345.html (scroll to the bottom).

Truly unique and amazing bikes. You may not remember me, but I bought a '67 Sprint 250 from you in '07. You showed me a bike you were working on that had blue wheels at the time. Was that the center steering Buell?

Cool stuff! You definitely think outside the box!

<I added a few links in your post so the pics appear in the thread.>

Confederate Wraith (I have 2 , actually)

Hey! The guy with the Wraiths. Welcome!

Sorry I didn't post up earlier. I was at the USF Game last night and got back pretty late.

So that's just some of your bikes? Wow.  Cool

Any chance that you can give us some insight on how the Wraith handles, performs? How are the ergos?

The handling, performance and especially the carbon fibre brakes are outstanding and are likely lost on older conservative riders.  The ergonomics are not bad and fit me (6-2) nicely  with the only caveat being the "lack" of a fuel tank between your legs is initially disorienting.  In terms of a means of transportation, it sucks but, then again so do other icons like a  Countach.

Other than the obvious answer....I use the 2008 and the 2009 was the last available new bike in the world. Analogously, imagine for a moment  that it is 1967 and you went to your friendly local Ford dealer and he had 2 of those Cobra thingies with the big motor...

As a new rider that likes to ride, but hasn't figured out the mechanicing part yet I am in awe.

Cool bikes. Welcome to the board.

I think I might be the only guy on the board that doesn't know how to work on bikes. I am going to have to do something about that.

I did install my mustang seat the other day. Cheesy

Dr. Harms isn’t a member anymore. He was an interesting guy and awesome contributor when he was here…huge amount of knowledge…everything from obviously mechanical to motorcycle history. I think mrbones actually met him. But he got offended when he thought a logo on one of the motorcycles I posted in the weird thread was a swastika and cancelled his membership.

Here’s a link to where all the drama started.
