I found a cool site called List-Alert that will email you when a defined search pops up on craigslist. This is a great idea. You don't have to keep checking CL over and over for a certain item, motorcycle or part. Just watch your inbox!

Also, check out www.searchtempest.com. It lets you conduct one search over every craigslist site within a specified distance from your zip code.
