Hey everyone! New to the forum, I live in Jacksonville and have been riding now for several years. My first bike was a 1975 Honda CB200T which I built from the ground up. I currently ride a '09 Harley XL883N. I have a strong passion for motorcycles and in my spare time not only do I enjoy working on bikes but I also enjoy organizing events and meetups. This Friday (Aug 6th) I am puttting on my second major show.

"Wolfgang Oil Mixer"
1036 Park Street
Jacksonville, FL
5pm-10pm

Live Music - Free Beer - DJ - Motorcycle & Car Show - Custom Trophies - Raffles & Prizes - Food

All in all you really can't go wrong. If you plan on entering your bike please shoot me an email with your full name as well as the year/make/model of your bike and/or car so I can reserve a spot. Primarily the focus is on bobbers, choppers, cafes and garage built customs, rats, rods and classics. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email at 904iron@gmail.com - We also have two hotels in the Jacksonville area giving a special rate if you are coming from out of town. Like I said, don't hesitate to ask any questions. Hope to see everyone there!

Noticed a few of you are from the Tampa area, if you are familiar with Dime City Cycles ( if not www.dimecitycycles.com ) they are riding up on Friday to set up a vendors booth. They are also building the "Best Jap Bike" trophy. Check out their blog entry on my event... http://www.dimecitycycles.com/blog/2010wolfgangoilmixer/?SID=8a727fafa38261728b0bea7c5ff355d0

I think there are only a few members from Tampa. We’re all pretty well spread out around the state, plus a few from outside the state. You should hang out here once in awhile.

Dime City is pretty well known around here. I’ll bet our admin mrbones is on a first name basis with them ‘cuz he’s our resident Café guy. I’d never been to their website. Thanks for posting it. They have a lot of very cool vintage stuff, and few custom bits, although as a Sporster guy I’m not to sure about these: Deepsickness Satin Black Wicked Apes. You don’t have these on your Sporty, do you?

Hey drod13, you should check out that Dime City’s website for cool stuff for your bobber build.

Oh one last thing 904IRON, I was surfing around the Jockey Journal earlier this evening and came across your thread on the mixer on the front page. It hit me that your handle was familiar, not just from this thread…sure enough, I went back to my intro post and you welcomed me to that forum on May 26th. Hah! I have a different handle over there, but it's sure a small world, and my memory must be hanging on better than I thought in my old age.

Funny how all that works! Happy to introduce you guys to Dime City's site... They will be there in the flesh this Friday, I'm pretty excited about meeting them. Right now I have around 15+ cars confirmed and around 5 motorcycles... but I know from experience the motorcycles will roll in. Last event I put on I had three people reserve spots prior to the event and ended up having 20 bikes enter.
