I posted your event in the Harley XR Owners Forum (Florida Group). We’ve got a couple new members in Jax. Maybe they’ll ride in for your event.  Smiley

Oh, I see FTWco is a sponsor. The dude up there ^ and I were just at the AMA Vintage Days in Ohio and they had a vendor tent. I regretted not buying a tee shirt. Maybe I can get one Friday.

Thanks for spreading the word! I have several FTW shirts, I didn't get a whole lot of them but they are for sure going in the raffle, make sure to grab a few tickets if ya come. They did however supply me with a stack of stickers that will be for the taking!

We’ll see you there IRON, barring real bad weather, which doesn’t look to be the case (but it’s Florida!). I was planning on a get-away weekend anyway so this event gave me someplace to be and something to do at the end of the first day; thanks for organizing it. I’m heading out this morning for the day scouting some new territory upstate (maybe I’ll find some twisties  Smiley ) and then winding up in Jax late this afternoon. Then on Saturday, I’m heading down the scenic east coast…first to St. Augustine, then on to Vero Beach with stops along the way. I’m meeting up with a friend in Vero late Saturday…God knows what he has planned for the evening. Then Sunday a roundabout trip back to Tampa. I’ve got this mapped so there’ll be NO highways! Man, after my trip up to Ohio last month, I’ve seen enough of this country's Interstate system. Anyway, it looks like around 700 miles…should be fun!

Everyone...have a super weekend!

If you know when you will get to the Daytona Beach area on Saturday or your route perhaps a meet up could be arranged. I have no plans other than riding the Loop on Saturday.

Hey, thanks for the offer flapug, but I’d left before I saw that. A good thing for you because the rain seemed to follow me around all weekend.  Sad

I've got 2 pairs of soggy boots. Rain got me Saturday and again today. Had fun even though.

What a SHITTY weekend weather-wise! I rolled out of bed on Saturday morning and it was raining. Geesh, it rarely rains in the morning. Anyway, donned my rain gear and headed out. Right out of the gate I get into a traffic jam on I-10 because someone in their infinite wisdom decided to close all four lanes down to one. Pouring rain, aggressive cagers all over the place trying to get to where ever and scaring the crap out of me. I just stayed out of everyone’s way, as I always do. Although my feet stayed dry (waterproof boots  Wink ) I may of well have left the rain gear off because it was still so hot and humid the stuff wouldn’t breath and I sweat like a pig…probably lost seven pounds…and my visor just kept fogging. As did the lens on my camera so I’ve got no good photos! Ditto Sunday, but worse! BUT, that’s all part of the deal and I too had fun, in this case though looking back at the weekend.

Anyway, here are a few shots of the Dice bikes that were super cool. Very simple...well built...nice!

Plus, I saw another XR…missing its exhaust cans.  Huh? I think I know who's this is...checking.
