I got out and rode last weekend. I was rained out on Saturday, but dodged the storms on Sunday and got out. This place is a local mud hole and pretty flooded. Too flooded for trucks, but there is a trail that runs around the water. There are more trails heading out into the forest. There are so many banana spiders I gave up on those. We're talking 1 every 100 ft. So I  just played in this area awhile.

I was able to back my steering dampener down to nothing and have some fun in this water soaked sand with good grip. This bike has dual sport tires on it running 25psi so it's horrible in the dry sand. It was nice to just run laps and try and get some kind of groove going. I need more practice on this thing in the dirt.

Ah! This is where you’ve been. Sweet!

There was a funny thread over in the ATV Forum on banana spider experiences out on the trail. We’ve all had them.

Oh, that reminds me, I signed up for a 390 mile Enduro Rally through the Mojave Desert (Death Valley) in April. You gonna be ready by then?  Smiley

I was riding this last Sunday. It's now all dried up with mud in the middle. Lots more fun that way!
