Before I left for the Barber trip, I’d pretty much decided to move into a sport touring model for a number of reasons, but there wasn’t enough time to figure out what I wanted, or what I wanted to do with the current fleet before that trip. I’d even floated an eBay and CL listing on the Harley to see what the interest was out there. So, I’ll start looking around a little more seriously. The Connie is a super bike. I know people who have them, so it’s on the list…probably will buy whatever new though. Even though I floated a couple listings to see what the interest was (not much), I’m leaning in a big way toward keeping the XR Sportster. At the same time, I listed the BMW Dual-Sport on eBay and that got bid up well…sold to a guy in Vancouver. I just delivered it to the shipper yesterday. Sad to see it go, but I gotta move on…

Glad you sold it so fast. Looking at a bike like that all I can think about is where it would take me and how far I could go.
