Thought you guys might find this funny.

Right after my wife and I got our bikes this guy come walking up while we are getting gas. I have the Honda Shadow 750 and at the time my wife had a Suzuki s40. This guy comes up all puffed up in a tank top that he really shouldn't be allowed to wear outside. First thing out of his mouth is

"What are those bikes going to be when they grow up?"

My wife is nicer then I am so she engages him in conversation. I just keep pumping gas. So after bad mouthing our bikes for a few minutes he tell us he has a Honda 1800. Looks over at me and starts telling me how that is a real bike. I just nod and finish filling up the tanks. He sees he is really not going to get a rise out of me. So he starts talking to my wife again.

He shows her a scar on his leg. He tells her that the bike fell over on him one day. He was getting it out of his shed and it fell on him and pinned him down. He had to yell for the nieghbor to come help him get the bike off.

And here is the kicker! He points to his pickup and says he drives that now because his wife will not let him ride the bike anymore.

You should have power lifted him over your head and put a Haystack Calhoun Body Slam on him. Remember Haystack? The Hornswaggalin’ Hillbilly! Yeah, back in the late 60s when (we actually believed) wrestling was real wrestling.  Grin

Yeah, 'the bike I don't ride is much cooler than the bike you do ride.'

Pretty typical.

My oldest, who rode once or twice on his bio-dad's property always tells me he's a much better rider than I. But he's 19, and I expect that macho crap from him.

I haven't watched wrestling in years, but loved it as a kid when it was only on TV on Saturday at noon.

I was always a huge fan of the Briscoe Brothers. I think they still live in the Tampa area don't they?

Blackwell would be a good avatar, but I think I'll roll with the Iron Sheik. If you have an issue with that I'll put you in the camel clutch.

You HAVE to watch the whole thing. There are so many great lines in this. The last is the best. Enjoy.

1977 Sheik. I remember this interview. Starts out with Jerry Blackwell. Then Sheik brings out a carpet and prays to Allah, then he pumps up.
