Maybe.... Not really my crowd, tho.  But it does look like a big ol' party and I see nothing wrong with that. 

Here is one of the bands that played tonight. You gotta think that if the guitar player didnt get his axe in tune in the recording studio, its gonna be even worse live. Trust me on that one.

After listening to that, my decision to stay in and drink rum and cokes out on the porch with the wife seems even smarter.

Over the occasional rain and the sounds of the wind chime....... off the porch overlooking the mountain....  I can hear the faint sounds of whatever band is playing now....This porch has a natural stone gas-powered fireplace built into it. I'm not going anywhere.

Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that Jamie, Gary and I rolled into Fontana about an hour ago. Bag isn't here yet. We did catch a little rain during the last thirty minutes in. Maybe that's got him held up. Cold as crap here, too.

Great ride on Moonshiner 28 from Walhalla today. I'm not quite prepared for this. 

I'll try and lob in some updates as the meet develops.

High atop the Cherohala Skyway, we were literally IN a cloud. That was supposed to be a scenic view, and there WAS a massive cliff on the other side of that wall, but who knows what the view was? Visibility was about 50 feet or so.

One of the most memorable rides I have ever been on. Great company, great riders. I would do it again tomorrow!

The Vrod in the front of the photo wouldn't start and we had to remove the trickle charger wiring to keep the battery from shorting out. Once we pulled the wires off, she fired right up. What a beautiful bike!

Note to self:  Don't hang your trickle charger connector out of the front of your bike - it WILL get full of water!
