Well the weather sucked today so I had some bling laying around and an Idea in my head for the back of the bike.

Here are the before Pictures:

Another angle:

In process, here the UGLY red reflector looks so bad now:

I also had to paint the LED panel b/c the white showed through the smoke lens and looked awful:

Now I removed the reflector, trimmed the fender and raised the tag: (sorry about the glare)

Before with lights on:

After with LED lights on:

My biggest problem with changing the rear was I prefer not to have my fender appear to stick way out past my tire which prevented me from removing the signal assembly and side mounting the tag.

Here are a couple of side views:

My concern as always with tinted lenses would be that it was still bright enough to be practical. It does look like it's plenty bright however. You did a real nice job. The stock reflector looked awful. Bravo!

Thanks.  I shared your concern about brightness.  I want to look good, but I definately want to be seen and heard.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the LED's were brighter than stock.  The blinker were and are 1156's and I put in yellow bulbs and they are still nice and bright too.  I took her to a local bike nite and she looked so good out of the shed and in the parking lot lights.

Definitely looks better and meaner. It matches the rest of the bike. Nice job.

Thank You,  I gave her a bath today and grabbed some mirror pictures for someone so I got a couple of full daylight photos:

That thing is sweet! Definitely looks better. LEDs are brighter for sure. You can get LED 1156 replacement bulbs.

I thought about that, but I was afraid that might throw off my flash rate so I just switched the clear 1156's for yellow ones.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they have a built in load compensator so it flashes at the correct speed.

I haven't seen a bike that has a built-in load equalizer as they are called. On my old '83 Honda, I changed out the flasher from the auto parts store that would flash with even one bulb or LED. Most newer bikes won't take that kind of flasher though. On my Sportster when I put LEDs front and back I added 4 ceramic resistors in the loop. One for each signal. I think they were 10 ohm. I got them all at Radio Shack for $10 for all. Otherwise you need a commercial load equalizer sold for motorcycles, they are about $30-$50.
