I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet. It's coming. March 4-13. Who's going?

... yeah, and did you read the latest? Scott Russel will ride an XR1200 HD in the new XR1200 class. Didn't he attempt a Harley ride in the early 2000's but got his ass kicked downtown the nite before the race for shooting off his mouth?

I wasn’t planning on going, but if you want to go and need a ridin’ partner, I’ll try and work it into my schedule. We ain't getting any rooms over there this late, so it'll need to be a day trip in and out.

Yeah, saw that on mcUSA yesterday. Big news that a Hall of Famer was coming out of nine years of retirement to race the spec class, but had to google down the barfight story. Haha, sure enough, 1999. Gotta admit, the dude has an impressive career and record, though. He was riding the factory VR 1000 Superbike at the time of the fight…looks like he got a broke cheekbone. The VR 1000 was definitely a cool looking bike, but it didn’t do too well. If anyone is interested, it was the foundation, or maybe inspiration, for the V-Rod.

Scott Russell on the VR1000 Superbike.

Ah, it's a nice day today, too...or at least it looks like it out my office window.  Sad
