Well, this isn’t really a beast…until you open it up. Otherwise, you can chug around the trails if you want. It’s a 1983 Honda XR500R. Last time I was up at Ocala watching FlaVMX races a couple guys were running these in one of their vintage classes. Runs good…a little bit of a bitch to start with the manual decompression until you get used to it. Many, many new parts and clean. $750 obo.

Yeah, I looked around quite a bit and that's about all this 28 year old bike is going to bring. Nothing particularly special and there is a ton of stuff out there for sale at the moment. The only thing this bike has going for it is that its exceptionally clean for such an old bike from all the upgrades, painting and plastics I did a couple years ago.

The only real interest I’ve gotten is from people who are looking for dual sports. This is titled OHV…can’t be re-titled street legal.
