Check the site again.  I was a little slow getting it changed over.  Actually a little slow for a couple of weeks!  Smiley

Definately doing it again.  Bands Friday and Saturday night.  Halloween costume contest.  Best decorated campsite contest.  Poker run.  Slip-N-Slide.  Bike and adult games Saturday afternoon.  Weenie bite, balloon toss, slow race, ball & cone, maybe a couple more.

And of course, the Tractor Pull!! Grin

I don’t want to ride on those highways again, so I say we have a scouting party go out a few months earlier and find some kickass back roads. I know they’re there ’cuz I kept getting lost on them doing the poker run at this shindig last year.

Gary know's the area and has time to work out some rides for us.  I would be up for the hour trip up to Ocala and spend the day riding between there and G-Ville.  Are we actually going to see you in a tent??

Ocala…+1…I actually know some of the roads up there near Ocala National. Haven't been up there in a long time though.

Glad to go up and help Gary scope out some loops. Oh and Gary, your fookin email is full again.

Camping...hmmm…maybe. But I’d still need a room at the Sleep Inn as a fall back.  hello2

Have you been on the Sugarloaf loop?  We just did the weekend after we got the bike.  Some nice riding around Howey and who knew Florida actually had a hill?

Boondocks is on Little Lake Harris in Howey with a view of the lake.  Nice place to lunch or refresh.  Lake Harris Hide-A-Way is near Tavares and a great lunch/watering hole looking out through old Cypress Trees.

This loop may be part of our Saturday morning Halloween Poker Run this year, not sure yet.  Will get that decided in the next couple of months.  You should try to arrive on Thursday at least to have that extra day of riding.

Don,  I got your link up on the Honda V4 site and have started promoting it there as well.

Any chance we can get and put up an inexpensive banner to promote this site??  I am willing to throw in a few $$$$ towards it.

ok u can lead... but u better play some good music lol

Your going to have to tell me how old you are and what kind of music you listen too and then I can probably find something appropriate.  I might be 43 but you will usually find Hollywood Undead CD in my truck these days.   Grin

Thanks for putting the link on the Honda site.

I will investigate the banner and get back.   Looking at the top of the page, BikerFlorida.com has the TM, so we would need Mr. Bones permission to use the logo.  I have a local guy I work with that is pretty reasonable.

Not sure if you noticed up at the bikefest, but there was a group of bikers/campers on the main road going to the back of Windy Acres, just on the right about halfway back, that had a big six foot banner of their group/forum hanging out in front of their camping area. It looked like it had a bunch of signatures on it. That might be another idea for a banner use if we’re going to do more stuff like bikefest/octoberfest, etc. I mean…I’m sorry I don’t remember the banners and signs out front, but I remember that one. Consider me in on the $$$.

I believe you are referring to the BikerOrNot group.  They have quite a following and website. BON was on the banner.

The Scootergoods staff group was next.

You and my soon to be 14 year old son going on 21 would probably get along great.   Grin  He is the one that turned me and his mother both onto Hollywood Undead.  He also listens to Slip Knot but that is a little extreme even for an old Ozzy fan such as myself.

There are a couple of options here.  The first being the easiest is to hang out and follow the poker run that is already being set up.

While I'll be there for the festivities at night, poker run's don't do a lot for me personally.  If there is a charity benefit to the poker run that I will not be doing, I'll drop some cash in the pot instead of actually doing the ride?

I'll be following Gary since he lives in the area wherever he wants to lead us.  You can expect to ride at least a couple hundred miles if not more each day if you choose to ride with us and to find as many curves as we can.

I am having a banner made of our latest T-shirt logo.  East Coast Screen Printing in the Okeechobee area did the T-shirts, and will be doing the banner.  It will be 4' x 4' and I was quoted $80.00.  $5.00 per square foot.  I was quoted locally $116.00, so even with shipping it is better.  Scott Dawson owns East Coast, is an avid FTR member and prints T-shirts, etc for FTR.  That is how Dylan got us together.  He is easy to work with and does a great job.

If you are still interested in a BikerFlorida.Com banner, I think they would do a good job, all through email/phone.

I would like to go. I am looking for a bike trailer that i can pull behind my car. I dont wanna go on a 5 hr ride alone.  Sad If i can manage to find a decent price on a small bike trailer you can most likely count me in!

That would be cool!  Cool

The Tampa.CL listing below doesn't necessarily help you in the transport area except as a possible idea to look into ...  Wink

That was a motorcycle trailer for rent listing...$35 for two days. Maybe there's something similar up in the Tallahassee area.
