I am looking for the best deal on a new or nearly new Ultra or Street Glide. The dealerships seem to be very hard to deal with.....the question is: Is there a better dealership or way to know the best deal. I am a terrible negoitiator.....................I also have a 2003 Fatboy should I trade or sell out right ?

My advice would be to buy a Vaquero.  Looks better than a Street Glide, will run forever, won't leak oil and is 10k less expensive.   Grin

Seriously, welcome to the forum and good luck with whatever you decide to purchase.  Keep your eye's out for our next get together and help us spread the word.  We need to get this place jumping.   Cool

Welcome to the site ssnooker2!

Trading your bike in is the easiest thing to do, but you'll get the least amount of money for it.

Try Crystal River HD. I've never bought a bike there, but always see happy people buying bikes whenever I visit. You could also check dealer's internet pricing. It's usually closer to the bottom line than prices you see in the showroom.

Any Harley EVO engine or later (84/86+) won't leak oil any more than any other manufacturer. My '98 Sportster hasn't leaked any oil in the last 3 years since I got it.

That is probably true but Harley bashing is so much more fun IF they DO leak a bit.   Grin  I hope everyone, especially the new guys know that I am just messing around.  I love all bikes and HD does make some nice bikes.

Although I did hear of a new XR1200 that needed a new head gasket with very few miles on it.    Roll Eyes
