Check the thread below too. If it's still on, there's a group from this forum that's planning a group trip to this event up at Windy Acres.

Old farts tolerated!!  It will be Halloween, a great excuse to dress up, or not!  Grin

For those local to the area, we are going to do a "Trial Poker Run" (run the route) that we will use for our Windy Acres Halloween Bikefest this Saturday (8/6/11) if Emily permits. Planning to leave the farm about 10am.

Haha...did anyone get the Windy Acres Halloween fest email? What's funny is there's a pic of a new gizmo Don made for the event in the email that he showed us last Saturday night on his cell phone...and being nearly blind w/o my glasses I couldn't make it out very good. Now I see exactly what it is...lol. It's gonna make for the center of attraction no doubt.  Grin

It takes me longer to take the kid to school every morning then it does for you to get to Windy Acres.    Grin

I was looking over my schedule. I can head up Thursday so we can get a couple days of riding in.

Matt...load your gear on the Harley and come on up. Then we'll have one bike in our group that will fit in with the crowd.  Grin

I am going up early Thursday morning (27th) if you want to ride along?  If we get an early start I'll keep it around 75mph for you on the Turnpike.  Once we get up there and start hitting the back roads we usually keep it under 10mph over when group riding so it shouldn't be a problem.  Bring a tent, a sleeping bag and some cash and let's go!!  If you don't want to ride up on Thursday morning you can call us when you get there.  Don at the gate will know where we set up at.

Just FYI Matt, this is not like going to Daytona.  It can be an inexpensive weekend.  Pretty good bang for the buck at Windy Acres.
