This is my 1973 first year production Honda CR250M Elsinore that I’m putting up for $3,800 obo. Its running good, although very loud; needs nothing. Lots of custom parts and cool touches; check the list below. It’ll probably go on CL late tomorrow or Monday, so you’re seeing it first. Fifty or so hi-rez more photos in this Slideshow. PM if interested.

DG Competition Pipe
Jastco custom billet aluminum intake manifold, engine mounts and triple tree
Aftermarket chain guide, another Jastco part
Custom air box with UNI
Clarke Plastic Tank (got the original, dented up, though)
Fresh unmolested plastics by DC
Tampered bearings in the steering head
AHRMA legal Legends shocks
New OE 48t rear sprocket and HD 520-104 chain
Oversized mud pegs
New Factory 909 bar, levers, Terrycables, grips, seat cover, polished bolts
More…

SOLD

Interesting story, I met a guy up at Webster last weekend who was selling a couple early 70s Honda QA50s. Cool little bikes if you remember them. Very nice work on the restoration, too. So a couple days ago I get an offer thru the eBay listing to trade +$ for...yup...two QA50s. LOL...same guy. Well, I wasn't interested in the QAs, but we worked it out and he'll pick up the old girl on Sunday. Sad to see it go, but it's better in the hands of someone who'll use it once in awhile and I've got something pretty cool to put the bucks toward.

Congrats on the sale. What's the next project?

Paying for the Tenere is what I had in mind, but I guess the project is getting it ready for my trip to Alaska next summer.  Grin

A 1970 Qa-50 was my first bike. I got a yellow one for Christmas that year. My dad picked up a used 1968 Blue Mini Trail 50. We rode those things all over the place in the woods around the East side of Lake Seminole. Great memories.
