...how damn beautiful the weather was this morning!

It's supposed to rain later, which means my ride home will probably be wet, but this morning's weather was worth it. It was ~71 deg at my house this morning with fairly low humidity. Dare I say it, I almost felt a slight hint of a chill on the ride in  Grin

Florida riding season is right a round the corner and I can hardly contain myself lol.

It's been a brutal summer, not just here but across the U.S. Looking forward to the riding season and even those days where we need to throw on some additional layers.

I can finally start to feel how a couple of hours in the morning won't be too bad.  Depending on how much work I can get done tonight I am real tempted to blow off work tomorrow and head down to Key Largo for lunch.

It was another awesome morning. It was one of those days where you go out for a little while, and then don't come back. Yeah, just wanted to check out a few things and pretty soon I was in Tarrytown. While filling her up at the corner of 50 and 471, I got to thinking that I hadn't been up to ONF with a bike in awhile, so I went. Checked out a couple gravel roads off Fla 19. Just in and out, here and there. My new Garmin doesn't read the Forest Roads and didn't want to get exploratory without the proper tread under me plus I didn't have my air pump so I couldn't air down out there in the middle of nowhere (guess I could air down, but not up). Anyway, then I took a new route back going all the way over through Mt. Dora...nice little town imo. Saw some new places and things. 257 miles later, I'm glad I blew off the world for the day.  Grin

It would have been perfect but the bugs are out again.  Undecided

Nice! I keep meaning to ride out to Mt. Dora and check it out. If for no other reason than to ride  Grin

A couple of friends and I went for a ride on this past sunday. Sadly we didn't do too much riding due to my friends bike deciding to never turn back on when we stoppe to get gas. Never did figure out what happened, just trailered it back to his shop. The heat was on that day, but it was clear skies and still pretty nice.

Anytime you get near Mt Dora, Sugarloaf is a nice ride also.

^^ Yeah, that's actually what I meant. I was confusing Surgarloaf "mountain" with the city Mount Dora. I'll have to make it out to take a look at FLorida's mountain! Should be able to find nice roads between there and New Port Richey. One of these weekends I'll have to do that ride.
