I've used Centurian Gel on 3 different seats. It's used for wheel chair pads and works pretty good.

I used it on my KLX250S seat, too. There are no aftermarket seats available for that bike. The pics show the steps. Take the stock cover off, cut a space for the gel, then put the cover back on.

Well, there's an idea! I'll have to keep this in mind next time I redo a seat. Do you really notice a difference? Last spring, I reupholstered a seat for a ninja250 that I rode on a 9,000 mile trip. I was grateful that I added some extra padding!

It was a definite improvement on the enduro seat as that was like sitting on a 2x6 board. The cruiser seat wasn't much better. A good seat is really all in the shape.
